Do you have a studio?

  1. No. We book a studio or choose a location that suit your needs.

  2. We have many different backdrops, if there is a specific backdrop you prefer please let me know in advance and I will get it.

  3. It is the client responsibility to provide props the want to utilized during the shoot.


How do you choose outdoor locations?

  1. Typically I like to ask the client to google, pinterest, or youtube some ideas and then I would like to schedule a call to storyboard our ideas together. I want to make sure I understand your vision for your shoot.

PHOTO COPYRIGHT POLICY 

The law says you created that image as soon as the shutter is released. This means that photographer copyright laws state that whoever pushed the button owns the copyright.

This photography and copyright law covers you for:

  1. Reproducing your photography

  2. Preparing derivative works based on your photography

  3. Distributing copies of your photography to the public (by sale, rental, lease, or lending)

  4. Publicly displaying your photography

RETOUCHING POLICY 

After we take your shots, there is an additional process of editing and retouching the images ahead of delivering the final versions to you. 

What is the difference between editing and retouching?

  1. Editing is color correction of the entire photo. Make sure the photo is clear, crisp, and vibrant. 

  2. Retouching is correcting implied “imperfections''. Acne, blemishes, fine lines, makeup enhancement, even skin tones. 


How long does it take to get edited and retouched photos back?

  1. 14 days from the date edits are chosen and those choices communicated to AMG Photography 


How many retouches does my package include?

  1. You are allowed 1 revision per photo in your package. Every additional request to revision a specific image will add an additional charge of $43 per image. 

COVID POLICY

This policy includes measures AMBER MARIE GREEN Photography (AMGP) is actively taking to mitigate the spread of coronavirus. You are kindly requested to follow all these rules diligently, to sustain a healthy and safe session in this unique environment. This coronavirus (COVID-19) policy is susceptible to changes with the introduction of additional governmental guidelines. 


When You Arrive For Your Appointment

  1. For studio appointments, please wait in the comfort of your car and text Amber at 773-368-8376. She will respond back when she is ready for you. 

  2. If you have cold symptoms, such as cough/sneezing/fever, or feel poorly, or if you or anyone you have been in contact with have a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, please reschedule your appointment. 


Studio Safety

1. Please stop wearing your mask 1-2 hours before your appointment so there are no mask marks on your face.

2. All AMGP will have a mask on hand to use as needed

3. Use the hand sanitizer at the door to the studio when you arrive.  

4. We will do our best to maintain 6 feet distance except when adjusting any small detail that impacts your image captures.

REFUND POLICY

1.The session fee is paid in advance to secure your chosen date. It is non-refundable should you cancel but is transferable to another date in the event you wish to amend your booking with at least 48 hours’ notice. Special consideration is made for maternity and newborn sessions. The session fee does not include any images, either prints or digital negatives; these must be purchased separately.  

2.No refund will be given under any circumstances if you fail to attend the activity on the day and at the time listed and fail to communicate with AMGP

3 In the case of camera failure, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents AMGP from shooting on a scheduled date, the client will have the option of  scheduling  a new date or receiving a 100% refund.

 

4.Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned; AMGP has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. Once a transaction has been completed (i.e., the buyer selected and paid for the photo and then AMGO sent the buyer the correct photograph) it is then considered non-refundable. If a buyer has selected and purchased an incorrect photo, he/she must notify AMGP, before receiving the “incorrect” photograph. 

 

5.Refunds will NOT be given due to “not liking a photo”, selecting an incorrect photo after the buyer has already received the photograph, or any other reason. If a mistaken photo is sent to the buyer, as documented on the invoice, AMGP will send the correct photo to the buyer free of charge.
